Update Letter to Dredge Committee Members,
The Whatcom County Hearing Examiner meeting originally scheduled for June 15 has been postponed by joint request of the Dredge Committee and the Lummi Tribe. We are working with the Lummi Nation to come to a resolution to their objections to the dredge permit. The Hearing, when it is held, will likely be a remote meeting, with very limited opportunity for public comments. Your written comments to the county are part of the hearing record.
We are aware that time is very critical.
